Not to call myself a master wordsmith but what the Quotable Poet Aberjhani says in this linked discussion on Amazon comes close to what I’ve said a few times about ELEMENTAL and some other modern masterpieces. In this new discussion, which seems to me kind of short considering the subject, he talks about the amazing value of the paintings in the book and how years from now they’ll probably total in the millions. Yet here it is Black Friday time and this incredible collectible has been chopped down by 25% in some places and 50% in some others. But true to the American money-machine spirit, there are other places where it’s more than five times the original price.
It seems almost criminal that something so profound could go for so little but the truth is the writer behind this has always been known to put more energy into sharing his creative adventures than getting profits out of them. How smart is that? Maybe not so much at all when you look at it from one side, but then extremely smart when you look at it from another.
